There was tension in the Mabushi area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Wednesday after three suspected touts, locally known as agbero, linked to the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), were set ablaze by an angry mob for allegedly causing the d3aths of a man, his wife, and their son. According to an eyewitness, the tragic incident occurred when the touts allegedly dragged the car steering from the driver of the familys car while attempting to extort money, leading to a fatal accident on the Mabushi Bridge.  The entire family reportedly d!ed on the spot. A video sighted online shows the three suspects lying on the ground before an unidentified individual doused them with petrol and set them on fire. This is what Amac agberos have caused here in Abuja. They are causing a lot of harm. It’s high time we did something about it. Seriously. Both families died because of agbero. Imagine, they chased this man, entered his car, and dragged the steering from his hand. The man died, his wife died, and his son died. The FCT Minister needs to take action.
