In recognition of his leadership skill in the last one year, members of Benin Club 1931 have re-elected Dr. Isibor Evbaziegbere as President of the club.
Also re-elected were Anthony Izevbekhai as Vice President, while Albert Ngbanwa retained his position as the Secretary General as well as Princess Habiibah Oyeghe Oyarekhua as Assistant General Secretary.
Similarly voted into the executive committee were Moses Ikharo as Treasurer; Jerry Orobor as Financial Secretary; Prince Ajayi as Premises Secretary, and Engr Sunny Edobor as Bar Secretary.
However, the only two new addition to the management committee were Hon. Osazuwa Ehiorobo, voted as the Membership Secretary and Nora Ucheagwu as Lady Member.
They were however sworn in immediately after being declared winners by the Chairman, Benin Club 2026 Electoral Committee, Bamidele Abina Esq. on Sunday.
In his acceptance speech, Club President, Dr. Evbaziegbere thanked members for their votes and trust, assuring them that the upcoming year will maintain the high quality of service delivered in his first term.
Meanwhile, members of the club who spoke to Newsnigeriaonline commended the Electoral Committee for successful organisation of the election, noting that it was free and fair election.
In the same vein, they urged the new executive committee to do more than the previous year in order to justify the confidence reposed in them for their re-election.
