The Federal Co-operative College, Ibadan, Oyo State, paid five companies N3.2 billion on May 15 for projects outside its core institutional mandate.
The stated primary role of the college is cooperative-sector education, training and capacity-building but the projects on the Open Treasury Portal, as reflected by Govspend, are more of road construction and projects not related to the direct functions of the college.

The projects range from farm and community road construction and procurement of medical supplies for hospitals in other communities.
